I finally bought a new bike! :)

After months of saving up and searching, I have finally invested in a new road bike. All along I wanted a Cannondale. It all ended up working out and I even got a pretty one! Well, I think it is pretty…it is blue! It even has a carbon frame which is awesome and makes it super light.

I even got a set of clip on aero bars for Christmas! It is going to take time using those…but it is going to take even more time familiarizing myself with the shoes and pedals. It is very awkward being clipped in. I haven’t fallen yet, but I am trying to do a lot of my training on the trainer before riding outside.

On Tuesday I am getting a custom bike fit to make sure everything is adjusted to fit me perfectly. I am really looking forward to that.
